A vote for Brenda is a vote for Integrity, Ethics, and Transparency

Brenda Rodgers is a dedicated community leader and former Elgin City Council member, known for her strong commitment to serving residents. During her time on the council, she helped secure the construction of two new fire stations to improve public safety, worked to keep a major big-box store in the community to preserve jobs and local tax revenue, and helped ensure refurbished computers were donated to nonprofit organizations to support community programs. Brenda also played an early role in national politics, becoming the first person to take Michelle Obama out to campaign for Barack Obama during his run for the U.S. Senate. Known for her hard work and determination, Brenda continues to focus on strengthening and uplifting the communities she serves.

Brenda is committed to bringing integrity, transparency, and ethics to the Kane County Clerk's office.
The Kane County Board invested $7.3 million of taxpayer funds in new election equipment. Unfortunately, this equipment froze on election night during ballot counting—not just once, but in two separate elections. This failure should never have occurred. As your clerk, I will ensure our elections run smoothly, with reliable equipment and transparent processes. Taxpayers deserve confidence that every vote is counted efficiently and accurately, and I am committed to delivering that.

Aunt Brenda, the woman who stared down ICE, got teargassed, and STILL kept calling the world to attention! They tried to shut things down, and you got louder, stronger, and even more determined. You walked out of the chaos head high while they were probably wondering how you were still standing. That's the kind of courage that makes you unforgettable." -My nephew.
"I will take this Courage to the clerk's office."
